Itinerary Details

Day 1 Welcome to Tarangire National Park

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours). Known for its iconic baobab trees and vast elephant herds, Tarangire offers a classic introduction to the safari experience. Afternoon game drive. Overnight at a lodge/tented camp Tarangire area.
Day 2 Full Day in Tarangire National Park

Full-day game drive exploring different regions of Tarangire, seeking lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, and migratory herds. Overnight at the same lodge/tented camp Tarangire area.
Day 3 Lake Manyara National Park Adventure

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 1.5 hours). Explore the diverse habitats of this small but rich park, famous for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and the scenic Rift Valley escarpment. Overnight at a lodge/tented camp near Lake Manyara/Karatu area.
Day 4 Journey to the Great Plains – Central Serengeti

After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands to the legendary Central Serengeti. Optional visit to a traditional Maasai village or Olduvai Gorge en route. Afternoon game drive across the Central Serengeti plains. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp in Central Serengeti.
Day 5 Full Day in Central Serengeti

Awaken to the soft glow of dawn as the first rays of sunlight pierce through the clouds, casting a golden hue across the endless plains. The gentle chorus of birds welcoming the new day echoes in perfect harmony with nature’s rhythm. As the Serengeti beams to life, set off on an early morning game drive, witnessing the wilderness awaken around you. Pause for a sumptuous hamper breakfast in the heart of the savannah. Return to camp for a leisurely lunch and rest, before venturing out again for an afternoon and evening game drive, capturing the magic of the Central Serengeti as day melts into dusk. Overnight at lodge/tented lodge.
Day 6 Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive as you exit the Central Serengeti, then drive towards the Ngorongoro Highlands. Overnight at a lodge/tented camp near Ngorongoro.
Day 7 Crater Wonderland – Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

Early breakfast, then descend/drive into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact caldera. It is more than a giant zoo—its 600-meter deep walls create a perfect sanctuary for a myriad of wildlife existing in perfect harmony. From big tusker elephants and elusive black rhinos to flamingos, this is truly the Garden of Eden. Enjoy hamper lunch at Ngoitoktok Springs. Overnight at the same lodge in the Ngorongoro/Karatu area.and return to your lodge. Overnight again at the lodge/tented camp near Ngorongoro.
Day 8 Farewell to the Bush – Return to Arusha

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before returning to Arusha. Option to freshen up at a day room before transferring to the airport for your flight home or onward to Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia for a beach extension.
