Day 1 Arrive in Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your private guide and transferred to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy your first evening in Rwanda’s clean and vibrant capital.

Day 2 Kigali City Tour – Drive to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, embark on a guided Kigali city tour including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a deeply moving experience that reflects Rwanda’s tragic past and inspiring recovery. Enjoy lunch in town before heading north through the scenic countryside to Volcanoes National Park, the gateway to Rwanda’s primate safaris.

Day 3 Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Set out early for your gorilla trekking experience. After a detailed briefing from park rangers, hike through the lush rainforest to find one of the habituated mountain gorilla families. Spend a breathtaking hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat, one of the most intimate wildlife experiences in the world.
Return to your lodge to relax and reflect.

Day 4 Golden Monkey Tracking – Return to Kigali

This morning, return to the forest for a lighter but equally rewarding adventure: golden monkey tracking. These lively, rare primates live in the bamboo zones of the park and offer fantastic photo opportunities as they leap and forage in troops.
After the trek, drive back to Kigali, arriving in the afternoon.
