Gombe Stream National Park

Experience one of Africa’s most intimate wildlife adventures in Gombe Stream National Park, set along the pristine shores of Lake Tanganyika in western Tanzania. This 4 day chimpanzee safari offers a rare opportunity to track wild chimpanzees on foot through lush tropical rainforest, following in the footsteps of Dr. Jane Goodall, whose groundbreaking research brought global attention to Gombe.

Travel by air and boat from Arusha to Kigoma, then journey along the scenic lakeshore to reach this remote primate sanctuary. Enjoy guided chimpanzee trekking, explore forest trails rich in birdlife, butterflies, and smaller primates, and visit natural highlights such as Kakombe Waterfall. Between treks, unwind with peaceful moments by Lake Tanganyika, swimming, kayaking, and soaking in the serenity of one of Tanzania’s most secluded national parks.

Ideal for wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, and travelers seeking meaningful nature encounters, this Gombe safari blends primate conservation, rainforest exploration, and remote lakeside luxury into a deeply rewarding experience.
