Fleet size:
Toyota Land Cruisers :These are custom-made, safari-ready vehicles. We have 22 such vehicles offering both 5 and 7 window-seat configurations.
Nissan Patrol : These are recent additions to our fleet; we have 4 such vehicles and offer 7 window seats.
Transfer vehicles: We have 4 such vehicles:
- NISSAN URVAN for 5 passengers
- TOYOTA HIACE for 7 passengers.
- TOYOTA COASTER: for 26 passengers.
- MERCEDEZ BENZ MCV 260: This is the most luxurious bus available in the industry; it can carry 26 passengers and has been acquired specifically for sightseeing tours to the coast of Tanzania and other highland areas.
HUMAN RESOURCES: The long-term success of any company lies in the development of its human capital. Twice a year, seminars are organized within our facility. Experts are invited to discuss various topics involving our daily activities with emphasis on conservation, safety and communication/customer service. Team members are encouraged to share their experiences during discussions and enable junior staff to learn from the knowledge of senior colleagues. The net result here is that service delivery from every department has been improved.
OUR AREAS OF OPERATION: Roy Safaris is an inbound tour operator. We operate both land and fly-in packages to various places of interest in Tanzania. These include: all the national parks located in Northern, Southern and Western Tanzania; beach holidays to Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia islands and Pangani on the mainland Tanzania; plus Mountain climbing expeditions to Kilimanjaro and Meru. We offer special interest packages such as birding tours, incentives and team building tours. The majority of our tours are custom-made for individuals, families, honeymooners and groups. Our sales consultants are always ready help tailor a tour to a client’s exact requirements. |
